Spotlight on Carisbrooke Castle Chapter

A warm welcome from the members of Carisbrook Castle Chapter!  We invite ladies of British or Commonwealth birth or ancestry, or have significant others of the same heritage, to join us as we live up to our DBE motto: “not Ourselves but The Cause.”

Our chapter members live in Buena Park, Irvine and Santa Ana.  We would love to meet prospective members from surrounding areas such as Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, and Tustin.

Chapter meetings are held in members’ homes on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm.  We have light refreshments and the opportunity to socialize prior to our meeting.

We enjoy getting together for special occasions, such as a summer luncheon and a Christmas holiday gathering and Theater trip.  We also love visiting activities hosted by other DBE chapters.

Carisbrooke Castle Chapter’s primary purpose is to raise funds for the British Home in California Inc. The Home is a non-profit, independent and assisted living retirement home for seniors located in Sierra Madre.  We enjoy visiting our ‘Special Friend’ at the British Home, and keep in close contact with cards and special occasion gifts.

Our fundraising efforts include occasional Garage Sales and hosting a booth at the June Faire, held the first Saturday in June, on the lawn at the British Home in Sierra Madre.

To learn more about us just fill out the contact section of this website, mention Carisbrooke Castle Chapter in the comments and we will be in touch.
