Spotlight on Maple Leaf Chapter

If you are looking for a dynamic group of ladies who want to give back to their community and have fun while doing do, then this is the group for you! We encourage suggestions and ideas as we work together to GROW our chapter and make lifelong friendships while doing so.

Maple Leaf Chapter was formed in 2012 and we currently have 10 members who live in the following communities: Burbank, Glendale, Los Angeles, North Hollywood and Tujunga. Our chapter motto is ‘Do be Encouraging’.

Meetings are held in members’ homes on the third Wednesday of the month at 10:00am and we enjoy a time of fellowship with refreshments after the meeting.

Our two main fundraisers include the British Home’s June Faire in Sierra Madre where we decorate a booth and sell various items. We also participate in the Holiday Boutique, at the Glendale Historical Society’s Christmas tours of the Doctor’s House Museum.

We give 100% of our fundraising net proceeds to the British Home and are delighted to have a very special ‘friend’ at the Home who we often visit and send cards on a regular basis.
